Xavier Jacomet began his career in 1990 at Digital Equipment in France as Head of controlling of the “Services” line of business and of the “Europe Services integration” division.

He then joined the European headquarters in Geneva holding “Finance” roles and working on the consolidation of “Services” operations”  for DEC, Compaq, and Tandem.

In 1999, he moved to the United States to become North America CFO for Krups. He played an active role, in particular in relation to the introduction of the Nespresso brand in the United States.

At the end of 2001, Xavier Jacomet returned to Europe in order to start a new 15-year career, this time at Microsoft. In 2011, he was appointed CFO for Sub-Saharan Africa and Indian Ocean, one of the most dynamic regions in terms of business. As their Financial Partner, he has worked with various regional leaders to develop new businesses with SMEs/SMIs and state companies, as well as for governments, in 49 countries.

His strong business and financial expertise have enabled him, in particular, to generate growth and Cloud adoption in Africa.
