Luc Marot, Founding Partner of HEEM in 2005, and FIT Management in 2007


After working on audits for three years at Arthur Andersen , at age 27, Luc Marot founded Alexander Conseil , a consulting firm specialized in equipment financing, with two other associates.

He then joined McDonald’s France where he worked in financial reporting and treasury, before being appointed Financial Director.

In 1992, Luc Marot moved to NRJ to create the financial department, set up budgets and the financial reporting structure, and transfer NRJ to the monthly settlement market. He was promoted to head of the international business and managed a large number of radio station acquisitions in Europe.

In 1997, he joined the Lagardère group to head the financial department of Hachette Filipacchi Médias’ international magazine, regional newspaper, printers and new media divisions.

Within the group, he took over management of the production entity, Interdéco, as Managing Director responsible for all support functions.
In 2005, he created HEEM , a firm specialized in financial transition management and consulting, which became FIT Management when Laurent Agrech joined the firm as a partner in 2007.

Projects ranged from providing support with acquisitions and with the creation of financial departments to the managing changes in financial directors in businesses seeking a turnaround or in treasurers for the implementation of cash pooling.
